One of the youngest donors – 9-year-old Solomiyka Galan – visited the Lviv Defense Cluster.
For the second time, the girl collected funds to transfer them to the production of body armor for the Defenders of Ukraine.
Solomiyka paints pictures and together with her mother organizes charity auctions. This time, thanks to the support of people – auction participants – she collected UAH 21,000. Among the paintings raffled off at the auction are “Patron Dog” and “ZSU Cat”.
Of these funds, the girl transferred 18,000 to the production of bulletproof vests, and the remaining 3,000 will be directed to the purchase of thermal clothing.
The bulletproof vest, made thanks to the girl’s first donation, is already helping a soldier of a separate battalion of the 129th separate brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Fighters of the battalion protect Mykolaiv and Kherson regions.
The girl decided to re-direct most of the funds received from the new auctions to bulletproof vests.
