Children of defenders can receive funds for recovery: documents are being accepted in Lviv

The Lviv Center for the Provision of Services to Combatants accepts documents for the provision of one-time financial aid for the recovery of children of ATO/OOS participants, injured participants of the Revolution of Dignity and Heroes of the Heavenly Hundred – residents of the Lviv urban territorial community. The application can be submitted until September 29.

As of now, 186 children of combatants have already received funds for rehabilitation. The total amount of these payments was UAH 856,000.

One-time financial assistance is provided to children under the age of 18 in the following amounts:

– to the children of persons who took direct part in ATO/OOS and died (missing) or died, injured participants of the Revolution of Dignity and Heroes of the Heavenly Hundred – UAH 6,000 for each child.

– to children with disabilities of ATO/UOS participants (including volunteer fighters who are recognized as such according to the procedure established by the Lviv Regional Council), injured participants of the Revolution of Dignity – UAH 7,000 per child.

– to children of persons with disabilities as a result of the war from among the participants of the ATO/OOS (including volunteer fighters who are recognized as such according to the procedure established by the Lviv Regional Council), injured participants of the Revolution of Dignity, in particular:

* persons with disabilities due to war 1-2 groups – UAH 4,000 for each child.

* persons with disabilities as a result of the war, group 3 – UAH 3,000 for each child.

To receive one-time financial aid, one of the child’s parents or authorized representative (guardian) submits an application to the Lviv Center for Providing Services to Combatants (41 Pekarska St.) using the prescribed form.

We remind you that the children’s rehabilitation program in Lviv has been operating for the 8th year (since 2015). Despite the martial law and the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine, Lviv continues to financially support the fighters and their families. In 2021, 552 children of combatants received this assistance for a total amount of over UAH 2 million.
