Dutch tulips will be planted in cities and villages of the Lviv community

The famous Dutch tulips will also be planted in the settlements of the Lviv community. Currently, the city Department of Ecology and Natural Resources is clarifying with the heads of community offices the locations of plantings and the required amount of each variety.

This was reported in the city agglomeration department of the LMR.

According to Oksana Lutsko, deputy head of the Department of Ecology and Natural Resources of the LMR, tulips will be planted around the old city in Lviv, with special attention to the area near the Opera House and Svobody Avenue. And also in several parks and districts of Lviv.

We will remind you that the initiator of the flower gift is the Netherlands. In this way, the Dutch decided to support the Ukrainians during the war.

In total, Holland has already handed over 60,000 tulip bulbs to Lviv. In a few days, another 65,000 will arrive. After that, large-scale planting of tulips in the Lviv community will begin.

“It is important: the donated varieties of tulips are selected in such a way that they bloom as long as possible. So when some flowers bloom, others will only begin,” Oksana Lutsko stressed.

And already in the spring, guests and residents of the Lviv community will be able to admire a floral gift from the Netherlands for as long as possible.

Bulbs will be planted by park workers. Caring Lviv residents volunteered to help. However, given the large volume of work, volunteers will probably be involved in the landing.
