On this day, an air alert was sounded once in the Lviv Oblast due to enemy actions.
This was announced by the head of the Lviv Regional Military Administration Maksym Kozytskyi.
“We had one notification about an air alert – on October 16 at 12:30 p.m. There was a threat of a Dagger missile strike. The danger did not materialize. Thank you to the Armed Forces!” – noted the head of the Lviv Oblast.
Also, 172 people arrived in Lviv on two evacuation trains last day, and another 555 people were sent to Przemyśl from the Lviv region on four trains.
“Through checkpoints in the Lviv region, 19,696 people left Ukraine in 24 hours. 20,712 Ukrainians returned,” added Maksym Kozytskyi.
The regional police processed 1,176 complaints about suspicious people and objects.
