Together with our neighbors, we have been developing the forest industry on both sides of the border for decades. When Russia attacked Ukraine, our allies defended us from day one. Thank you for that.
This is not the first time that Polish foresters have helped Ukraine. Earlier, they responded to a request from the Lviv Regional Department of Forestry and Hunting and handed over more than 1,300 tactical backpacks with equipment, 35 thermal imagers for our defenders and tons of other equipment and humanitarian aid, including medical supplies. drugs, first aid kits, medicines and food. They responded to the needs of Ukraine this time as well.
I thank everyone – the Polish people and the government – for their support and assistance in the struggle, which becomes an example of upholding European values for other states. I have no doubt that very soon we will continue to work closely under a peaceful sky – for the benefit of the peoples of Ukraine and Poland.
