Lviv border guards take care of a puppy born near the border with Russia and take it on rotation

Zhuzha was born near the border with Russia. The puppy, frightened by the shelling, was found and nursed by a border guard with the pseudonym Vesna.

After a few days of living with the State Border Guard Service, Zhuzha calmed down and even started reporting shelling.

“She immediately raised her ears and hid behind us. That’s how we knew it was about to start,” says Vesna.

The dog likes to eat ice cream and dark chocolate. That’s why the border guards bought Zhuzha treats at every opportunity.

Now Zhuzha will have to get used to the constant sounds of explosions. Vesna went home on rotation – to the Lviv region, of course, with his favourite.
