Rescuers from the Lviv region again faced nature’s challenges caused by recent fires in the area’s ecosystems. Over the last day, 11 fires in open areas were successfully extinguished, covering a total area of over 1000 square meters.
Among the affected areas:
- Drohobych area: villages of Unyatychi, Modrychi, and the city of Drohobych.
- Zolochiv area: villages of Chepeli and Grabova.
- Lviv district: villages of Volytsia and Horbachy.
- Stryi area: villages of Krushylnytsia and Zhuravno.
- Sheptytsky district: village of Rudenko.
- Sambir area: village of Turye.
In the process of extinguishing the fires, 51 firefighters and 14 units of special equipment were involved.
