LMKP “Lvivvodokanal” received humanitarian aid from the Dresden water utility – this is equipment, materials, clothing and tools, which are critically necessary for the enterprise.
“During the entire year of 2022, the water supply company of the city of Dresden has become a reliable friend and partner for us. We hope that after the end of this terrible war, our companies will continue to maintain their friendly relations,” Lvivvodokanal said.
We would like to remind you that cooperation between Lvivvodokanal and Dresden Vodokanal was made possible thanks to Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) and Engagement Global with its service agency Communities in One World, which since 2019 have been implementing the pilot project “Platform for Strengthening Partnerships of Municipal Utilities Worldwide” , as a cooperation project on behalf of the German Federal Committee.
It is within this project that the “German-Ukrainian communal partnership between LMKP Lvivvodokanal” and Stadtentwässerung Dresden Gmb (main partner) and Berliner Wasserbetriebe and Stadtentwässerungsbetriebe Köln (as co-supervisors) is implemented. The utility platform is developed and implemented in cooperation with the German Association of Local Utilities (VKU) and the German Water Partnership (GWP).
