When your windows are open, even if they are fitted with mosquito nets, never leave children unattended for even a minute!
With the beginning of summer, we open the windows more often for ventilation. It is not uncommon for small children to climb onto window sills and risk falling out of the window, and some parents mistakenly believe that a mosquito net can hold them back.
However, this is not so! To avoid a tragedy, police officers remind children of the safety rules: – when leaving a room with open windows, be sure to close them; – do not leave the child unattended, even if the open window has a mosquito net; – move away from the windows the objects that the child can use to climb onto the windowsill on his own – tables, chairs, bedside tables, various boxes, etc.; – install special safety locks on windows and balcony doors so that the child cannot open them independently.
Remember that mosquito nets are not able to protect the child from a potential fall from the window. Be responsible!
