In the town of Brody in the Lviv region, local youths organised an erotic photo shoot at the Jewish cemetery on the occasion of Halloween.
The young men and women showed their bodies against the backdrop of tombstones. This was reported by Yaakov Brodshman of the Jewish Business Club “Echad Michelanu” (“My own to my own”)
Some of the photos are of an erotic nature. Others imitate a magical ritual involving a girl being tied up with a rope and ritually burned.
The photo shoot was organised by a local aspiring photographer.
The Brody Jewish cemetery is one of the largest in Ukraine, with more than 8,000 burials. In particular, the grave of the Hasidic tzaddik Chaim David ben Yosef and his wife Adele, who died in 1931. There are also many graves of victims of the Nazi regime. Not a single like on the Internet is worth desecrating graves. We, as the public, hope that the local authorities and law enforcement agencies will properly assess this “creativity”, said Yaakov Brodshman.
As Yaakov Brodshman later reported, the author of the photo shoot at the Jewish cemetery in Brody was a teacher
The community of Brody was shaken by the news of an erotic photo shoot organised by unknown persons at the Jewish cemetery. Conscious young people in Brody recognised several residents of their town from the photos. They also identified the organiser. It turned out to be a local teacher.
The publication of the photos on social media was timed to coincide with the Halloween holiday. The photo shoots at the cemetery were held in advance and on different dates.

The Lviv regional police discovered the post on 8 November while monitoring social media.
The police immediately registered the incident, and an investigation is underway, upon completion of which a legal qualification will be given. This was reported on the website of the Lviv regional police.
The United Jewish Community of Ukraine expresses its outrage at such blatant disrespect for the graves and the memory of the dead.
Such behaviour is unacceptable, the statement said.
It should be noted that the Jewish cemetery in Brody is one of the largest in Ukraine, with more than 8,000 burials. One of these graves is that of the Hasidic tzaddik Chaim David ben Yosef and his wife Adele, who died in 1931. Also buried in this cemetery are victims of the Nazi regime who died as a result of brutal violence.
