Juvenile police officers of the Yavoriv district police department, together with the American actor Joe Buckland, visited the educational rehabilitation center in the village of Krakovets and arranged a real holiday for the children.
Pupils of the rehabilitation center, as well as children from families who found themselves in a difficult life situation, and displaced children were happy to talk with the legendary “Batman”, take pictures, play football and other games. The foreign guest also handed the children postcards with words of support from American children and gifts.
Together with the policemen and the actor, the children held a joint prayer for Ukraine, its defenders and victory.
In addition, the law enforcement officers handed over Easter paschas and other goodies to the pupils, so that no child would feel abandoned during these festive days.
Since the beginning of the war, actor Joe Buckland has been actively helping Ukrainian children, visiting schools, various centers and conducting motivational meetings. The actor has been wearing a Batman costume for 10 years as part of the Heroes 4 Higher association.
