This is primarily about rifled or smoothbore weapons, which, according to Ukrainian law, are allowed to be declared.
Currently, the most active declaration of weapons is taking place in the regions involved in the hostilities, in particular in Zaporizhzhia and Kharkiv regions. And also in Kyiv region, where some settlements were partially occupied.
In total, since 25 November, when the law on declaring unaccounted for weapons came into force in Ukraine, Ukrainians have already registered 300 firearms and 10,000 rounds of ammunition with the National Police. Another 3,000 rounds of ammunition were handed over to the police by citizens who did not want to keep them.
