In Lviv Oblast, they continue to fight against the hostile language of the occupiers

In accordance with the established moratorium on the public use of Russian-language cultural products in Lviv Oblast, outreach activities are systematically taking place in the region.

Today, December 8, members of the Interdepartmental Working Group at the Lviv OVA, employees of the Department of Communications and Internal Policy of the OVA, Lviv RVA held explanatory events among the employees of public service institutions.

“An important task is to counter Russian aggression together, especially when it comes to the cultural and informational space of our country. We see that the systematic explanation of the moratorium has a positive effect on both the owners of service establishments and visitors,” said the acting director. director of the Department of Communications and Internal Policy Yuriy Horun.

During the educational work, the employees of the institutions received information stickers and brochures “Promote the Ukrainian language” and “Lviv region is free from the language of the occupier, the terrorist, the murderer.”

“We gladly support the initiative not to use the Russian language. In our institution since 2014, since the beginning of the war, Russian music has not been played, we also call on all visitors to communicate in Ukrainian, as well as to popularize it,” says an employee of the “Hetman” institution, located in the city of Vinnyki, Lviv region.

In total, in the city of Vinnyky, about thirty public service establishments were inspected for the use of a Russian-language cultural product. We would like to remind you that since 2018 there has been a Moratorium on the public use of Russian-language cultural products in the territory of Lviv region.
