The Lviv Regional Center for Hydrometeorology of Ukraine warns about the deterioration of weather conditions in the Lviv region.
On May 18, in the afternoon, thunderstorms and hail with a diameter of 6-19 mm are expected in the region. Southwestern wind gusts will reach 15-20 m/s.
On May 19, significant rain is forecasted, with precipitation possibly reaching 15-49 mm over 12 hours. In the landslide-prone areas, rainfall could be 15-29 mm over 12 hours. In the morning and afternoon, thunderstorms are possible, with hail in some places, and west wind gusts and squalls of 15-20 m/s.
The emergency services urge citizens to observe safety rules and be cautious, especially when outdoors. If the weather conditions worsen, try to avoid walking under sprawling trees and stay away from billboards and power lines. Take care of yourselves.
