“BORDER SECURITY IS THE POWER OF THE STATE”: BORDER GUARDS TELL THE STUDENTS ABOUT THE SPECIAL FEATURES OF THEIR SERVICE
As part of the national-patriotic education of the youth and with the aim of popularizing the service in the ranks of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine in the Lviv region, the border guards visited the Lviv National University of Nature Management.
During the visit, the border guards talked with the young generation, familiarized them with the basics and features of the border agency’s activities, and told them about the prospects of choosing this prestigious profession for themselves.
Also, LNUP higher education students watched a multimedia presentation about the activities of the Canine Training Center of the DPS of Ukraine and a video clip about a border guard dog handler who was one of the first to meet the enemy and shared his combat experience, and also talked about his four-legged partner.
But the most interesting thing for students and employees of LNUP was the performance of a dog trainer and a service dog. The four-legged guard demonstrated his skills and caused a flurry of positive emotions.
The meeting ended with joint photography and unforgettable impressions for both students and border guards.
We hope that such measures will help young people in choosing their future profession, and in the near future some will decide to join the ranks of border guards and become defenders of the state border.
