Lviv Craft Fest starts already on Sunday, April 28. Entry to the event is free.
A festival of craft producers will be held in Lviv. The event will take place on the main square in front of the Ivan Franko National University.
Lviv Craft Fest is not only a great opportunity to put together your special Easter basket, but also an important initiative to support the local manufacturer in the conditions of a full-scale war. About 60 participants will take part in the festival, most of them producers from the Lviv region. Among them are many producers of cheeses, sausage delicacies, sweets, honey, sauces, seasonings and other products. There will also be guests from other regions of Ukraine.
Most crafters will be holding delicious tastings, and there will also be a food court with delicious street food from local establishments. In addition to delicious and quality farm products, the event will also feature ceramics, authentic jewelry, accessories and other conceptual decor.
“The main event of the festival will be the conference “Opportunities in times of crisis”, where representatives of funds, projects, and authorities will speak about grant and financial support programs for the recovery and development of micro and small local and relocated businesses,” the director of the Department of Agro-Industrial Development emphasized Tetyana Hetman of Lviv OVA.
During the festival day, visitors will be offered a rich artistic program from the Lviv Academy of Arts: themed master classes on painting Easter eggs and creating other Easter decorations. There will be an interactive play area for children at the location.
“Lviv is actively preparing for Easter. Without a doubt, this is one of the most favorite holidays of Lviv residents, a symbol of rebirth and renewal, but above all we love it for its special traditions and pre-Easter preparations for the holiday. We hope that at our festival, residents and guests of the city will find everything they need for the festive Easter table, will be able to discover new names on the market of craft products, and, of course, recharge with a real spring mood,” says Pavlo Chmyruk, co-organizer of the event.
The festival will be held with the support of the project of the Representation of the International Organization for Migration (IOM) in Ukraine, financed by the Government of Germany, and the assistance of the Department of Agricultural Development of the Lviv Regional State Administration. The organizers of the festival will be the Regional Development Agency of the Lviv Region and the So Good Company event agency.
Festival opening hours: 11:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. Entry to the event is free. More information about the event can be found here: http://surl.li/spqfu.
