In the Lviv region, fan shutdowns were introduced for the population

The head of the Lviv Regional Military Administration, Maksym Kozytskyi, reported that fan shutdowns were introduced for the population on the territory of our region.

“They were introduced in all regions of the region and partially in Lviv, approximately 3% of the total capacity. The first group of fan (emergency) shutdowns was introduced from 09:20, according to the order of the chief dispatcher of the RDC of the Western region of NEC “Ukrenergo”, – noted the head of Lviv Oblast .

You can check the information about the outage in the “Why is there no light” section on the “Lvivoblenergo” website or in the call center at the following numbers:

0800-30-15-68
067-333-15-68
050-460-15-68
093-170-15-68
093-170-15-68

Chatbots in Viber and Telegram will also provide information.

NEC “Ukrenergo” will additionally inform about the restoration of electricity supply.

Restrictions on the supply of electricity are introduced throughout Ukraine. The reason is a shortage of power in the system.

In order for the system to work in a balanced way, it is necessary to take such measures. In Lviv Oblast, a schedule of limiting electricity consumption and capacity has been introduced so far only for industrial consumers. For domestic users, there are currently no schedule restrictions, but consumption must be reduced as much as possible during the specified hours.

Keep a note of what to prepare in case of a possible power outage:
✔️flashlights and an analog radio receiver
on batteries, and preferably on batteries (ideally, if they are charged by sunlight). Thanks to the radio, you will be able to receive important information if suddenly all other gadgets are discharged;
✔️ matches, candles and dry alcohol;
✔️charged phones and other necessary devices and additional power banks (choose power banks with the maximum capacity). In the event of a power outage, turn on the energy saving mode on the gadgets;
✔️a week’s need for drinking water and food that is prepared “in the field” or is already ready for use. Food and water will stay warm longer in thermoses;
✔️ a first-aid kit with the necessary medicines that you take constantly, as well as what you may need in case of injury;
✔️ warm clothes and blankets.

If you have questions or need help, call the Hotline of the Lviv region at number 112.
