Today, there are 271 evacuated children – internally displaced in organized groups of institutions – in 17 institutions of the Lviv region.
2 more children who were evacuated due to hostilities on the territory of Ukraine arrived in Lviv. They were removed from the family in the Dnipropetrovsk region. Their chaperones also came with the children. The children were placed in an institution for children in the Lviv region.
“As of today, there are 271 evacuated children (internally displaced as part of organized groups of institutions) in 17 institutions of the Lviv region, of which 161 are orphans and children deprived of parental care,” said Volodymyr Lys, head of the Children’s Service of the Lviv OVA.
Among them, both babies and children of high school age, who were evacuated from Donetsk, Luhansk, Kharkiv, Chernihiv, Zaporizhzhya, Mykolaiv and Sumy regions.
“There are also 7 family-type children’s homes and 5 foster families (62 children) in the region, who arrived from the war zone,” added Volodymyr Lys.
