In the Sokal region, the first modern shelter for families of internally displaced persons was opened in the Chervonograd district in the premises of the former village council

Today in the village A good event took place in Zhvyrka – the first modern shelter for families of internally displaced persons in the Chervonohrad district was opened in the premises of the former village council.

The event was attended by representatives of the district government, secretary of the Sokal city council Ihor Sydor, deputy mayor Volodymyr Oginskyi, clergymen. Vladyka Mikhail Koltun blessed the opening of this shelter.

The premises for the shelter were leased by the Sokal City Council, and this powerful project was implemented by the Charitable Fund “Caritas-Sokal” and the Charitable Organization “Ukrainian Educational Platform”. Maryana Yaremchuk, the manager of Caritas-Sokal BF, put her whole heart into the implementation of this project, so that the families who will live here feel at home in comfort, so that they feel at peace and comfort here.

It is hard to believe that such a good initiative was implemented in just one month. Modern rooms, new furniture, a kitchen, refrigerators, washing machines, a separate children’s playroom – such good conditions will be enjoyed by seven families of internally displaced persons who will move here next week.

People experienced real hell, fled from shelling, some have nowhere to return to, because the occupiers destroyed their home, so we want these families to feel at home here. We believe that we will win the victory very soon. And just as we have now rebuilt a small house, we will soon rebuild our entire Ukraine so that everyone can return to their native home, to their native land.
