Contractors from Lviv Oblast have already carried out measurements for the start of work on the restoration of housing for residents of Kherson Oblast

These are additional settlements that our region recently took under patronage within the framework of the “Side by Side” Program.

Lviv region, together with other regions, actively participated in the restoration of housing for residents of Kherson region. They started in mid-July from three settlements: Nova Zorya, Tavriyske and Bila Krynytsia. Work is still ongoing here.

“In Nova Zora, 12 objects have already been completed, 12 are still in the works, in Tavriysky, 12 have also been done, our contractors are still working on 22 objects, in Bila Krynytsia – 19 have been completed, and work is still underway on 34. First of all, we are repairing damaged houses in which people live, as well as housing to which residents can return after the work is completed,” said the acting director. head of capital construction department of Lviv Regional State Administration Roman Dulya.

Recently, Lviv Oblast took under its patronage another 13 settlements of Kherson Oblast. This accommodation is in the village Myrolyubivka, village Nadezhdivka (Belozersk community), village Eastern, village Zagoryanivka, village Muzikyvka, village Vysuntsi (Muzykivska hrodama), village, Pyyathatky, village. Krasnosilske, village Sadok, village Old woman, village Kucherske, village Nova Kuban, village Borozensk (Borozen community). In total, 246 objects in these settlements need repair.

As the representative of the contracting organization, which will carry out repair work here, said, Mr. Mykhailo last week already inspected the objects damaged as a result of shelling, made the appropriate measurements to prepare for the start of the work.

We will remind you that in July Lviv Oblast joined the national initiative “Side by Side”. This is an initiative to help the regions of Ukraine in the restoration of communities that were de-occupied and suffered from Russian aggression. Kherson Oblast, as one of the most affected regions, became a pilot site for the implementation of this project.
