From today, October 31, to November 13, measures to control road traffic safety and compliance with traffic rules will continue in the territory of Lviv and the region in order to prevent the death and injury of people on the roads.
In particular, the number of crews of patrol police response groups on the most dangerous road sections has been increased. Police officers detect facts of violations by road users of the Traffic Rules, driving while intoxicated, entering the oncoming lane, violation of the rules for driving at intersections and overtaking, use of seat belts or motorcycle helmets, violation of the rules for transporting children, as well as non-observance of the Rules of the Road by pedestrians and cyclists .
Law enforcement officers hold preventive and clarifying conversations with violators, as well as bring them to justice provided by law.
The police once again appeal to all road users: be attentive and careful, follow the Traffic Rules, protect your life and health.
