According to information received from the Polish side, from 9.00 a.m. Kyiv time on 23 November, Polish protesters plan to start a possible protest action in the form of blocking traffic in front of the Medyka-Shehyni checkpoint.
The process was reported to the Voice of Sokal Region by the State Border Guard Service.
According to preliminary information, the action will last 48 hours with a possible extension.
Vehicles weighing more than 3.5 tonnes will not be allowed to enter the Republic of Poland. In addition, one truck per hour will be allowed to leave Poland.
According to the Polish side, the restrictions will not apply to cars and buses.
Information on other possible changes or complications related to border crossing will be provided additionally.
Vehicles are currently being cleared as usual.
