During a single day of duty, rescue teams in the Lviv region effectively extinguished twenty-four fires, including eighteen instances of dry grass fires. As a result of meticulous work, thirteen buildings were saved from destruction.
Fortunately, thanks to the timely intervention of the professionals, no residents were harmed.
The Main Department of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Lviv region emphasizes the importance of observing fire safety regulations to ensure the safety of all citizens. Key rules include:
- prohibition of smoking in bed,
- maintaining electrical wiring in proper condition,
- prohibiting leaving premises with electrical appliances turned on,
- prohibition of leaving young children unattended,
- avoiding overloading electrical networks.
The State Emergency Service urges refraining from burning dry grass and calls on all citizens to remain vigilant to protect themselves and their loved ones.
