The traffic lane along the retaining wall along Bandera Street in Lviv has already been opened for traffic

Near the retaining wall along the street. Bandera lane is already free for cars and public transport. At the weekend, trams were running on this section in test mode. From today, December 19, tram routes No. 1 and No. 2 have returned to their usual routes.

As you know, this traffic lane was closed for about 4 months due to the dismantling of the emergency retaining wall. The works are carried out as part of the reconstruction of the street. Banners ordered by LKP “Lvivavtodor”. As of now, the old retaining wall has been completely dismantled. In order to strengthen the hill near the Organ Hall, a new one has been constructed, on top of this wall it remains to make an earthen slope with green plantings. Due to weather conditions, these works are currently suspended.

The traffic lane along the retaining wall was closed during the works at the end of the summer. Accordingly, until today, two tram routes ran according to changed traffic patterns.

However, from now on, according to information from Lviv Electrotrans, trams No. 1 and No. 2 have resumed running on their usual routes. Therefore, the “one” and “two” in the direction “from the center” run through Rynok Square, Doroshenko Street, Kopernyka St. Bandery (No. 1) and Chuprinka (No. 2). Today, 6 trams No. 1 run on the routes with an approximate interval of 10 minutes. and 8 trams No. 2 with an approximate interval of 8 minutes.

Lviv electric transport operates according to schedules that provide for optimal and uniform movement intervals on each of the routes. However, traffic delays sometimes occur for reasons beyond the control of Lviv Electrotrans (traffic jams, improper parking, technical reasons, etc.).
