Yesterday, on the occasion of the City Day, schoolchildren, together with their parents and teachers, organized 10 charity fairs, raising UAH 1.9 million for drones for the military.
“1,900,000 hryvnias is the amount our children raised at school fairs yesterday. Students, teachers and parents once again organized a very good event that took place simultaneously in many places in Lviv.
They baked cookies, poured lemonade, painted Easter eggs and in half a day raised a huge amount of money that will go to the needs of our defenders,” said Andriy Zakalyuk, head of the Education Department of Lviv City Council.
The funds raised by the children will be used by The Lion’s Revenge to purchase FPV drones for the airborne assault brigades.
