The DPSU has provided information for citizens planning to travel across the Ukrainian-Polish border

Traditionally, border guards note an increase in the flow of people and transport at checkpoints on the border with Poland before the Easter holidays.

The latest data on checkpoint operations indicate that the busiest checkpoint in the Lviv region is Sheghini. In particular, 10,000-12,000 citizens crossed the state border at this checkpoint in both directions during the last few days. As of 12:00 p.m., 105 cars are waiting to leave for Poland in front of the Sheghini checkpoint.

Let us add that the number of registered citizens in “Krakivka” and “Rava-Ruska” is 6-8 thousand.

We believe that on the Ukrainian-Polish border, within the Lviv region, there are six checkpoints for road traffic operating 24 hours a day. The smallest movement dynamics is observed in “Smilnytsia”, “Hrusheva” and “Ugrynov”. In order to reduce waiting time in queues, we recommend that citizens choose these border crossing points. The current situation regarding the state of queues can be tracked on the official resources of the State Border Service, in particular, on the Facebook page of the Western Regional Administration, the data is updated every three hours.

We would like to add that crossing the border depends on the work of all representatives of control services who carry out their activities at checkpoints and employees of the relevant services of the neighboring party.
