On February 13th at 11:31, rescuers received a report of a fire in a ‘VAZ 111840’ car in the town of Hirnyk, Sheptytsky district. The fire occurred in the engine compartment. The driver attempted to extinguish the fire using a fire extinguisher, but the fire was eliminated by the firefighters.
Firefighters localized the fire at 11:45, and by 11:47 it was extinguished. Thanks to their prompt actions, the vehicle was saved. Fortunately, no one was injured.
On February 14th at 05:30, another fire was reported in the city of Yavoriv on Lvivska Street – the engine compartment of a ‘Volkswagen T5’ car caught fire. The driver attempted to extinguish the flame with a fire extinguisher, but needed the help of rescuers. The firefighters localized the fire at 05:42, and by 05:46 it was extinguished. Fortunately, no one was injured.
