On July 24, at 00:58, the Rescue Service “101” received a report about a fire in Horodok on the street. Lvivska of the Lviv district in a Citroen C2 car.
Another fire department of the town of Horodok was sent to the scene of the incident.
As it turned out, the driver of the car smelled an unpleasant smell while driving and saw smoke coming out from under the hood of the car. The man stopped the vehicle and tried to put out the fire himself with a fire extinguisher. Realizing that the situation was getting out of control, the man called the firefighters.
At 01:16 the fire was localized and at 01:20 it was extinguished. The car was destroyed by fire. 3 personnel and 1 unit of special equipment were involved in extinguishing the fire.
No one was injured as a result of the incident. The causes and circumstances of the fire are being established.
