On October 22, at 15:56, the Rescue Service “101” received a report about a fire in the village of Velyki Hlibovichi of Lviv district. The fire started in a wooden outbuilding, covered with slate, measuring 4×5 m.
The rescuers of the 50th state fire and rescue post of the city of Bibrka went to the place of the call. By the time firefighters arrived at the scene of the call, the entire building was engulfed in flames. There was a possibility of the fire spreading to nearby buildings.
At 4:31 p.m., firefighters localized the fire, and at 5:16 p.m. it was extinguished. As a result of the fire, the fire destroyed the farm building and 5 tons of roughage.
Thanks to the prompt and coordinated actions of the firefighters, it was possible to prevent the spread of the fire and to save the nearby residential building and farm building from the fire.
4 personnel and 1 unit of special equipment were involved in extinguishing the fire. The causes and circumstances of the fire are being established.
