In Lviv – the last day of voting for the renaming of 25 streets

The mayor of Lviv, Andriy Sadovy, reminded the residents that today is the last day of voting for the renaming of 25 more streets in the city and urged them to participate, because every vote is important.

“Voting for renaming 25 more streets in Lviv ends today. The weather is such that it is time to read, search and vote. We don’t have Russia here, so every vote is important. Proposals that receive the most support on the city council’s website will have +1 point during the decision of the working group. So don’t delay. Read more about the stories of the people and the street. It’s interesting,” said the mayor of Lviv on his own Telegram channel.

Yes, you can cast your vote for proposals for renaming the next block of Lviv streets at the following link: https://city-adm.lviv.ua/renaming-streets

We will remind you that the first 8 streets in Lviv were renamed back in June. 11 streets in Vynnyky and Rudny also received new Ukrainian names. The second stage of de-Russification of the streets is currently underway in Lviv. In total, 53 streets named after Russian figures or with names associated with the Russian Empire, Russia or Soviet propaganda will be renamed in the Lviv community.

We would like to add that after renaming streets in Lviv, residents do not need to immediately change their documents. Only entrepreneurs will be forced to replace documents, but this procedure will be free for them, as well as for residents. You can read about the change of documents in detail at the link.
