The Museum of Science and Innovation, which has about 100 interactive exhibits, has opened at 7 Sichovykh Striltsiv Street in Lviv. The museum’s exposition was also supplemented with exhibits from the Museum of the Small Academy of Sciences of Ukraine in Kyiv and the Museum of Interesting Science in Odessa.
Due to the fact that the Small Academy of Sciences has temporarily suspended visits to the interactive space in Kyiv due to hostilities, the following exhibits are being transferred to Lviv: a magnetic bridge, a table with puzzles, mirror writing, 3D crosses, the game “Tie a string “,” One face for two “,” Transparent computer “,” Chair with nails “, square wheels, magnetic liquid, wall optical illusions. According to the Tech Startup School team involved in the museum, some of the exhibits from Kyiv were to be transferred to the city of Mariupol, but they will be temporarily in Lviv until the end of hostilities.
Tech Startup School has also prepared part of its own exhibition: Newton’s cradle, da Vinci Bridge, interactive sandbox, interactive floor, which includes 100 games, human torso, exhibition of architectural objects of Lviv’s cultural heritage made of plywood.
“We have been thinking for a long time whether it is appropriate to open this museum now, but we realized that science and education are always relevant. Education is the force that helps us to win in everything, especially in the current situation in our country. My sincere thanks to everyone who joined this initiative. We will continue to supplement the museum’s exposition, develop it, because we understand how valuable it is, “said Nazar Podolchak, director of Tech Startup School.
