1,400 kilograms of undeclared cargo under the guise of humanitarian aid was discovered in Krakivets

They tried to illegally transport goods across the Ukrainian-Polish border under the guise of humanitarian aid.

Two Daf and Renault trucks arrived at the Krakivets checkpoint to enter Ukraine. According to the documents submitted for verification, the trucks were moving humanitarian aid: clothes, shoes and food products. Based on the analysis and assessment of risks, operational employees together with the border team initiated an additional inspection. In the course of which, together with customs officials, a product was discovered, information about which is missing from the documents. In total, inspectors found 1,400 kg of new clothes, 900 kg of shoes and 650 kg of bags of various brands.

Customs officers have drawn up protocols. Undeclared goods are removed according to the established procedure, the assessment amount is established.
