In Sambir and Chervonohrad districts, homes were found for children deprived of parental care.
In particular, in the Sambir district, three children deprived of parental care, who are related to each other, were placed in a family-type orphanage. From now on, 8 children live in the family.
Also, in the Chervonohrad district, one orphan child was placed in a foster family that operates in the Sokal territorial community.
“The state ensures the priority of family education and creates conditions for their development, providing material and social support to families that take in orphans and children deprived of parental care,” said Volodymyr Lys, head of the children’s service of the Lviv OVA.
In total, there are 42 family-type orphanages and 74 foster families in the region, where 420 orphans and children deprived of parental care are raised.
