A Ukrainian military man married his beloved in the Lviv Garrison Church, standing on a prosthesis

Half a year after the start of the full-scale invasion, Andriy was injured and lost his leg.

Today, January 19, in the Lviv Garrison Church of Saints Peter and Paul, the wedding ceremony of a Ukrainian military serviceman and his beloved took place.

As the head of the region, Maksym Kozytskyi, who was invited to the holiday, told, Andriy Odolka is 31 years old. He comes from Kryvyi Rih. Until February 24, 2022, he worked as a machinist’s assistant at a local enterprise. After the start of the full-scale invasion, the man left his profession and joined the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Was a sapper.

After 6 months of service, he received a mine-explosive injury near Bakhmut, as a result of which he had to amputate his lower limb. The man told his wife Inna personally about his injury by calling her one evening.

Andriy and Inna met 5 years ago. After some time they got married. They are raising a son together. The couple dreamed of getting married for a long time, and they helped make this dream come true in Lviv. This was done by the Superhumans Center team, which, by the way, put Andriy back on his feet.
