As part of the charity run, volunteers are collecting armored personnel carriers for the Lviv Teroboronov soldiers

100% of registration fees will go towards the purchase of a combat vehicle.

The headquarters of Plast in Lviv, the Ukrainian Leadership Academy and the Probig running club started a charity run to raise funds for armored personnel carriers for the Lviv Teroboronov soldiers who have been serving in the combat zone since April.

On Saturday, December 3, those willing will be able to join the run offline in Lviv in Stryi Park. They will start near the Suputnyk A restaurant, and from December 3 to 12, Ukrainians from different parts of the country and the world will be able to join the race online. Orissa’s husband, Dmytro Demyaniuk, until recently a professional track and field athlete, two-time participant of the Olympic Games, European champion in high jump, and brother Yuriy, who was also a track and field runner, volunteered to join the ranks of the 103rd ground defense brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on February 25.

“We have already found an armored personnel carrier, it remains to collect funds, bring it from Poland to Ukraine and repair it a little. The required amount is 800,000 hryvnias. As of today, more than 160,000 have been collected,” says Orysya Demyanyuk.
