In the “Krakivets” police station, the service dog of the border guards detected a narcotic potion in the bus

On the evening of December 22, a Zaporozhye-Koblenz bus bound for Poland arrived at the Krakow checkpoint.

During the inspection of one of the passengers, border guards found three bundles with a gray-green vegetable substance, probably narcotic, hidden among personal belongings. A 58-year-old citizen of Ukraine confirmed that the bundles contained marijuana, which she moved for her own use.

A service dog of border guards of the Lviv detachment, trained to search for drugs, helped to detect the potion. The found dope, weighing more than 12 grams, was seized by law enforcement officers for examination.

The relevant law enforcement agencies have been informed of this fact. Liability for this offense is provided for in Art. 309 of the Criminal Code (Illegal production, manufacture, acquisition, storage, transportation or forwarding of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances or their analogues without the purpose of sale).
