Fire in Nemyriv: Rescuers Discover Deceased Man
On April 15 at 02:42, the Rescue Service ‘101’ received a report of a fire in the village of Nemyriv in the Yavoriv District. The fire occurred in an apartment on the second floor of a two-story residential building.
Incident Details
Upon the arrival of the rescuers, thick black smoke was billowing out of the windows of the apartment where the fire started. Due to the heavy smoke, firefighters had to work in specialized breathing and vision protection apparatus.
During the firefighting efforts, they discovered the body of a deceased man in one of the rooms. He was identified as the apartment owner, born in 1957.
Fire Extinguishment
At 03:16, rescuers localized the fire, and by 03:21, they had extinguished the household items fire over an area of 20 square meters. The causes and circumstances of the fire are being investigated.
