Lviv Oblast consumers are supplied with electricity alternately: it is turned off for approximately 8 hours, then restored for 4 hours, and then turned off again for approximately 8 hours.
This is stated in the order of Lvivoblenergo.
Due to the shortage of power in the power system, all regions of the country are forced to resort to such shutdowns.
“Held a meeting with the management of Lvivoblenergo regarding these outages. I understand that the situation is difficult, but schedules of planned outages should be clearer so that residents of the region can plan their time. Clear schedules should be drawn up and made public in the near future,” said Maksym Kozytskyi, head of the Lviv OVA.
It is also important that Lvivoblenergo operators notify the critical infrastructure and production facilities that are on the list of those allowed to be disconnected 15-20 minutes before the shutdown. Employees of these facilities must have time to turn off the equipment or switch to other sources of power supply.
The situation changes dynamically, accordingly, the power provided for the Lviv region may increase or decrease – therefore, the number and duration of outages will increase or decrease.
