On January 10, at 04:20, the Rescue Service “101” received a report about a fire in the village of Borschovychi on the street Pidgaikova of Lviv district. The fire broke out in a Fiat Ducato minibus parked in the yard.
Firefighters of the fire-rescue unit of the emergency and rescue unit of the special purpose State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Lviv region went to the scene of the call.
As it turned out at the scene, the owner noticed the fire and before the arrival of the fire department, the man tried to save his car with a fire extinguisher.
Arriving at the scene, firefighters immediately began to extinguish the fire. At 04:54 the fire was localized and at 04:57 it was extinguished. The engine compartment and salon on an area of 2 square meters were destroyed by fire.
12 personnel and 2 units of special equipment were involved in extinguishing the fire. No one was injured as a result of the incident. Law enforcement agencies are determining the cause of the fire.
