In the Chervonohrad district, the police rescued a man who had lost his memory
With the help of a drone and video surveillance cameras, law enforcement officers found a missing local resident in the forest on the border with the Volyn region and took him to the hospital. According to doctors, there is no threat to his life.
On the evening of January 6, a resident of one of the villages of the Chervonohrad district reported the disappearance of her 60-year-old husband to the police. According to the applicant, the day before the man left home in a minibus, but he did not return home and there is no contact with him.
Employees of the Chervonograd District Police Department were involved in the search for the missing person.
First, the law enforcement officers tracked the movement of the minibus with the help of video surveillance cameras installed in the populated areas of the district as part of the “Safe Lviv region” program and determined the approximate square of the search, and then used drones, with the help of which they discovered the vehicle in the forest near the administrative border of the Lviv and Volyn regions .
The man lost his memory and could not explain who he was and how he got to the forest. In addition, he suffered from severe hypothermia.
The police took the rescued man to the hospital and handed him over to medics.
