From 8:00 a.m. on July 18, 2022, work will begin in Kraków on the improvement of the checkpoint as part of the Open Borders project.
In connection with this, the passage of passenger cars for departure from Ukraine will be temporarily stopped.
Estimated time to complete the scope of work is up to 10 days. Upon the resumption of passenger car traffic on the outbound route, additional notification will be given.
Citizens are asked to take this information into account when crossing the border and choose other checkpoints for departure to Poland.
We would like to add that the passage of cars to the entrance through “Krakivets” will be carried out without changes.
