3D copies of Lviv buildings of the modernist era are presented at an exhibition in Berlin

Digitized Lviv buildings of the modernist era are presented at the exhibition The Great Repair, which opened today, October 13, in Berlin.

The presentation takes place within the project “Saving objects and stories of the modernist era in Ukraine”, which aims to preserve and popularize the modernist heritage in Lviv. This was reported to the LKP “Heritage Bureau”.

As reported on the Facebook page of the initiators of the project “Lviv. Architecture of Modernism”, at the exhibition, within the framework of the “Mapping Ukraine, ETH Zurich” platform, two 3D models are presented – a block of municipal buildings on the street Grekova, 8 and an apartment from a residential complex on the street. Doroshenko, 47-59.

As a reminder, within the framework of the initiative “Saving objects and stories of the modernism era in Ukraine”, five significant objects of modernism in Lviv were scanned. “This is a rather ambitious project, the Lviv part is only its first component,” the Heritage Bureau added.
