The lll International Piano Competition “Chopinov Spring” was held in the city of Syanik in the Republic of Poland under the patronage of the Giorgia Ferenczi Foundation (Hungary), which is a member of the International Federation of Chopin Societies (IFCS).
55 pianists from Ukraine (from Lutsk, Kyiv, Myrhorod, Uzhgorod, Drohobych, Vinnytsia, Lviv, Sosnivka, and other cities), as well as from Poland and Lithuania, took part in this prestigious competition.
Anastasiya Lyuzovych, a student of the Sosniv Children’s Music School, received a diploma with distinction for the best performance of a piece from a participating country and a diploma of a laureate of the 3rd degree. Teacher Olena Mykolaivna Tsarenska prepared her for the performance.
The competition program presented by Anastasia included the following works: J.S. Bach “Prelude and Fugue”, B flat major, F. Chopin “Impromptu fantasy” and I. Berkovich “Toccata”.
