The Honoured Carpathian Song and Dance Ensemble of Ukraine “Verkhovyna” held a series of concerts for educational institutions of the Drohobych community as part of the patriotic programme “Melodies of Pure Springs”. The events took place at the Verkhovyna Concert Hall and were held not only to promote Ukrainian culture but also for charity.
As a result of the concerts, the ensemble managed to raise another 20 thousand hryvnias to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine. All the money was used to purchase batteries for FPV drones for one of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine’s special forces.
We would like to remind you that every event organised by Verkhovyna has a mandatory component – fundraising to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Recently, the Honoured Carpathian Ensemble held a large-scale all-Ukrainian dance festival “VERHOVYNA – DANCE FEST – 2024”, during which it raised UAH 121,300.
The team also held a concert in Stebnyk and a series of charity concerts, during which they raised another UAH 64 thousand. As a result, all 185 thousand hryvnias have already been allocated to purchase drones, which will be transferred to the military units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
