Another annual Christmas tradition got off to a decent start. The Honored Carpathian Song and Dance Ensemble of Ukraine “Verkhovyna” presented the “Boykiv Christmas” concert program at the Lviv Philharmonic.
The event took place in the last days of 2023. The ensemble’s enchanting performance gathered a real full house and a flurry of applause from the audience in the Philharmonic Hall.
Thanks to the concert, the ensemble team, together with the organizers of the project – the concert agency Vinil, managed to raise funds for the purchase of several starlinks – for the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
We will remind you that since the beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukrainian lands, the Honored Carpathian Song and Dance Ensemble of Ukraine “Verkhovyna” has held dozens of concerts in various cities of Ukraine and abroad. Thanks to the concerts of the ensemble, it was possible to collect over a million hryvnias for the purchase of necessary military equipment and support for the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
As for the new concert program “Boykiv Christmas” – at the end of January, the team plans to present it in Drohobych region as well.
The leadership of the ensemble thanks everyone who joins, supports Ukrainian culture and contributes to the approaching victory of Ukraine.
