The public film “Maidan of Dignity” will be shown during the action in the center of Lviv

November 21 at 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. on the square near the monument to Taras Shevchenko on Svobody Avenue in Lviv, as part of the “Maidan.

The 10th anniversary of the beginning of the Revolution of Dignity” will feature screenings of the documentary film “Maidan of Dignity” by Public Broadcasting. At 4:40 p.m., the tape will also air on local Public Broadcasting channels (Public Broadcasting Lviv, Public Uzhhorod, Public Poltava and others).

The creators of the film “Maidan of Dignity” tried to combine the story of the defining events for Ukraine: the Granite Revolution of 1990, the Orange Revolution of 2004 and the Revolution of Dignity of 2013. The film premiered in 2019.

Well-known cultural figures, activists, journalists and politicians who personally experienced more than one revolution on the Maidan took part in the filming of the film. Among them are journalist and TV presenter Myroslava Barchuk, political expert Oleksiy Donii, ex-head of the Ukrainian Institute of National Remembrance Volodymyr Vyatrovych, theater and film actor Yevhen Nyshchuk, lawyer of the Heavenly Hundred families Yevgenia Zakrevska, members of the TNMK band Fozzi and Oleg. Bassoon” Mykhailouta, member of the band “Mandry” Serhiy Fomenko, bandurist and lyre player Taras Kompanichenko and others.

“Maidan The 10th anniversary of the beginning of the Revolution of Dignity” is an action dedicated to the Day of Dignity and Freedom, which Ukraine celebrates annually on November 21. Start at 18:00.
