An exhibition of artist Mykola Kachur will be held in Drohobych

 

The Contemporary Art Gallery of the Drohobych Children’s Art School invites you to the opening of the exhibition of Mykola Kachur “On the way to the capital “Cry of the Soul”, which will be held on August 1, 2024 at 14.00.

Mykola Kachur was born on January 2, 1957 in Odesa region. The future artist spent his childhood and adolescence in Dolyna, Ivano-Frankivsk region, where he studied at an art school.

He was engaged in entrepreneurial activity and started painting in 2012. Previously, he painted mostly landscapes, and now he paints narrative compositions. In 2017, he became a member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine.

Participant in international, national and many personal exhibitions, including a personal exhibition dedicated to the 30th anniversary of Ukraine’s Independence at the Lviv Palace of Arts, a personal exhibition at the Museum-Workshop named after I. Kavaleridze. Kavaleridze in Kyiv. He has repeatedly held personal exhibitions at the Museum of Arts of Prykarpattia and the Regional Museum of Local Lore in Ivano-Frankivsk.

Participant of many exhibitions in private galleries and regional centers, in particular in the Museum “Boikivshchyna” in Dolyna, in the art center “Svitovid” in Kolomyia. Kolomyia. The artist recently held a solo exhibition at the Drohobychchyna Museum.

Mykola Kachur’s works are kept in private collections in the USA, Poland, Bulgaria and, of course, Ukraine.
