Olga Nazar Rovetska, a craftswoman from Sokal, is among the winners of the Olga Kobylyanska International Prize

As reported by the Chernivtsi Regional Council, the jury determined the names of this year’s laureates. The prize in the nomination “a series of Easter eggs with Trypil symbols” was awarded to the master of artistic Easter egg painting Olga Nazar-Rovetskaya.

As reported by the Chernivtsi Regional Council, the winner in the nomination “Promotion of Bukovyna folk art in the world” was Nastasya Marusyk from Chicago, USA.

Artist, volunteer Dmytro Koval, head of the department of painting and fine arts of FCMD KNUTD, won in the nomination “Creative project “Dreams of my love”.

And Ihor Talalay, a soldier of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and an artist, created a series of portraits of Olga Kobylyanska.

The award ceremony will take place on November 28 at 12:00 in the congress hall of the Bukovyna Hotel.

We will remind you that the Literary and Art Award named after Olga Kobylyanska was established in 2006 by the editorial office of the newspaper “Bukovynske Viche” and the Bukovyna Hotel Complex. It is awarded every year for the best literary, artistic or journalistic work, scientific research on the daily life of a modern woman in Ukraine, her position in society, the situation regarding gender policy in the state.
