The proceeds from the sale of the stamps will be used to help hospitals located in the frontline areas.
Today, on July 26, on the eve of the Day of the Medic, Ukrposhta issued charity stamps “Medics. On the battlefield” and “Medics. In the Operating Room”, which are combined into one stamp sheet entitled “Heroic Professions. Angels of War”. They depict how Ukrainian doctors fulfill their mission on the front line and in hot spots. A special redemption of the stamp was held simultaneously in all regional centers.
The stamp redemption was attended by Natalia Litvinska, director of the health department of the Lviv Regional State Administration, Andriy Vasko, director of the Lviv Regional Center for Emergency Medical Care and Disaster Medicine, and Andriy Danyliv, director of network development at Ukrposhta Lviv Region.
Natalia Litvinska thanked the public for their active citizenship in raising funds to rebuild the hospitals.
“Today we are solemnly canceling the stamps of the Angels of War issue dedicated to civilian and combat medics. This stamp is a symbol of our deep gratitude to all medical professionals who risk their lives to save others. Their work, from evacuating the wounded from the battlefield to providing the necessary treatment in hospitals, is an integral part of our resilience and brings us closer to victory. They are real heroes who ensure the life and health of the nation even in the most difficult moments,” said Andriy Danyliv.
The artist of the postage stamps, First Day envelope and cards is Oleksandr Okhapkin.

The issue “Heroic Professions” is dedicated to people of various specialties who work bravely and selflessly for the Victory of our country. The series began in 2023 with the postal block “Warriors of Light. Warriors of Light.
