The charity Lviv Art and Wine Festival will take place in Lviv this weekend: program

On December 2 and 3, Lem Station will host the fourth Lviv Art & Wine Festival. The event will be for charity – proceeds will go to the NEZLAMNI rehabilitation center.

“Support your own. Take back what’s yours” – this is the slogan of the fourth Lviv Art & Wine Festival. The concept of the event, more than ever, is in tune with the difficult realities of today: as it was hundreds of years ago, Russia during the war continues to hunt for our artistic heritage and appropriates cultural achievements.

The artistic exposition of the event will consist of paintings and sculptures by contemporary artists, interactive infographics with reproductions of famous avant-garde artists, a temporary bookstore with a large selection of books about the avant-garde, and creative photo zones in the spirit of this direction.

Along with Ukrainian art, Ukrainian winemaking enterprises will be presented at the event. During the war, many of them suffer from enemy hits, winemakers fight in the ranks of the Armed Forces, and some rethink strategic approaches to their own business. Therefore, the festival is designed to support the local producer, promote the development of the wine industry in Ukraine and convince Ukrainians that Ukrainian wine is in no way inferior to a foreign product.

This year’s wine market of the festival will include more than 20 craft producers of Ukrainian wine and other products, including family wineries and popular wine brands. As part of the event, a wine forum will also be held, where professional discussions on the development of the wine-making infrastructure of Ukraine are planned.

The evening program of the festival consists of chamber performances by Lviv music groups. There will also be an art market on the territory of the location, where everyone can see and buy stylish decor, jewelry, tableware, paintings and other products from local brands.

The price of an entrance ticket to the event is UAH 200. This is, first of all, a charitable contribution of each visitor, because the organizers will transfer part of the funds raised at the event to the needs of the UNBREAKABLE project – the purchase and manufacture of prostheses for civilians and military victims of the war.
